Gonna Build a Mountain (or a Broadway Show): Beauty and the Builder was a spectacular celebration honoring Dennis and Phyllis Washington on the occasion of their 60th wedding anniversary.
Featuring an original book inspired by their lives and adapted by Gordon Greenberg and Michael Weiner, the production unfolded as a jukebox-style musical, weaving together the couple’s favorite songs into one unforgettable theatrical event.
Billy Harrigan Tighe starred as Dennis Washington, with McKenzie Kurtz as Phyllis Washington, alongside featured performances by Katharine McPhee - accompanied by David Foster - and Josh Groban.
